Laramie County CC Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming

Laramie County Community College is located in Southern Wyoming. The school was founded in 1968 and has campuses located in Laramie, as well as Cheyenne. Outreach centers for the College are offered in Pine Bluffs and at F.E. Warren Air Force Base.

Laramie County Community College has approximately 3,700 full-time students.

The school offers more than 80 Associate degree programs and over 30 certificates to students.

Applying to Laramie County Community College

Prospective Laramie students can visit the Admissions page on the school Web site to download a printable application form. The completed form and the required application fee (see website) is forwarded to the Admissions Office for consideration. The applicant must also contact his or her high school or the college they attended to request official transcripts be forwarded directly to the Laramie Admissions Office.

The applicant must also take a COMPASS Academic Skills test before being accepted to Laramie. A schedule for examinations is posted on the Testing Center Schedule page of the Laramie Community College website.

The schedule changes on a monthly basis, and anyone taking the test must present photo ID when they arrive at the Testing Center.

Applications for admission are accepted on a continuous basis.

A person who is interested in applying to Laramie is encouraged to submit their paperwork well in advance of the start of classes, though.

Accommodation

Students attending Laramie can choose to live on campus. The school offers comfortable accommodation in residence halls with a meal plan. Laramie is an alcohol-free campus and smoking is not allowed inside buildings on campus.

Students can also choose to live on a specific floor that reflects their interests and values. The Quiet Study floor houses those who wish to focus on their studies. Quiet hours are extended to facilitate academic achievement.

A Substance Free floor is available for students who are interested in pursuing a healthy lifestyle. People who choose this floor are committed to avoiding alcohol and tobacco use at all times. All Male or All Female floors are also available.
